6 Cider and Doughnut Pairings for your Taste of Fall Party

I honestly can’t think of anything better to do on a chilly fall day than to be snuggled in a fluffy blanket, munching on a doughnut… or maybe 5… while sipping on a nice warm cider with my closest friends!  We’ve handpicked some of the greatest and yummiest doughnut and cider recipes that pair well together.  There are definitely some very unique cider recipes on here that I had never even considered before.  After writing this blog, I couldn’t help but to stir up one of these recipes – and I was starting to crave doughnuts – can you blame me?!  So, without further ado, homey deliciousness to the absolute max!

1. Blackberry Jam and Custard Filled Doughnuts paired with Black Currant Cider Sparklers.  These scrumptious filled doughnuts look too good to be true!  I mean, just look at that sugary coating and filling – it’s practically calling my name!  And black currant cider sparklers?  So unique and yummy!
   
2. Baked Cinnamon Sugar Doughnuts paired with Warm Vanilla Cider.  Ahh, nothing better than a classic cinnamon sugar doughnut with a warm vanilla drink.  Imagine this combo on a chilly fall day while cuddled up in a blanket surrounded by good company – sounds like bliss!
3. Browned Butter Glazed Cinnamon Doughnuts paired with Caramel Apple Cider.  Look at the glaze dripping down the side of that doughnut – yum!  Anything with glaze on it is, in my mind, just to die for!
   
4. Pumpkin Doughnuts paired with Spiced Pumpkin Cider.  What would a fall party be without something pumpkin flavored, am I right?!  The spiced pumpkin cider looks and tastes like it came right out of a gourmet coffee shop.
   
5. Southern Buttermilk Bourbon Praline Doughnuts paired with Maple Bourbon Cider.  This pairing of buttermilk doughnuts covered in a bourbon praline coating with a maple-y apple cider drink sounds like the perfect combination for a fall get-together!
6. Apple Cider Doughnuts paired with a classic Spiced Apple Cider.  Of course we had to include a traditional apple cider recipe on this list!  Apple cider doughnuts PLUS spiced apple cider – score!  Talk about getting in the fall spirit.
