Father’s Day is just around the corner. Have you gotten your pop a gift yet? Here’s an idea: Why not make him an extra-special DIY gift from the heart? We’ve rounded up our favorite Father’s Day DIY gifts to create for dad that are both easy and thoughtful!
Inner Child Fun: Do your kids love helping Dad wash the car? Help them make him a car wash kit! It’s an easy gift that will actually be used, and better yet, it’s something they can use together!
Crafty Morning: We all know that kids love to get messy and play with paint. Let them have at it with some super fun and cute tape resist canvas painting. Tape resist painting is perfect for kids because there’s no way for them to make mistakes!
All Free Kids Crafts: Popsicles are consumed in masses during summertime and I’m sure your kids love them! If you’re the type of family that collects Popsicle sticks for crafty purposes then you probably have plenty of them to make popsicle stick picture frames. It’s as simple as gluing four sticks together in a square and letting your kids decorate however they desire. It’s a heartwarming gift and they can turn out pretty darn cute!
I Heart Arts N Crafts: We cannot emphasize enough about how easy these Father’s Day DIY gifts are for your kids to create. All you need is a plain white mug, some stickers, and painters pens; that’s it! Just let your kids scribble away on the mug, then voila, you’ve got yourself a cute and thoughtful scribble mug.
Lil’ Luna: Does your father or significant other LOVE to grill? Then this DIY wooden grill set holder is the perfect gift for him. This may take some time out of your busy day, but it’s totally worth it and looks great!
Parsnips and Pasteries: Has the dad in your life complained about his beard being scratchy and dry in the winter time? This DIY beard oil is super-fast to whip up (only takes 10 minutes!) and will keep him from complaining about having an itchy beard all winter long. Plus, you can create a custom label just for him!
Food For My Family: If dad is constantly having to shave his five-o’clock shadow every morning before work, then you’ve probably heard him complain about how much money he has to spend on shaving cream! DIY shave cream is a great solution, and perfect for our Father’s Day DIY gifts list.
Birds and Soap: Now this is probably the coolest Father’s Day gift ever… A DIY cooler stand! However, this is a fairly tough and time-consuming project, but we guarantee your father will absolutely love it! (Try your hardest not to keep it for yourself!)
Man Made: If your dad spends time in the kitchen, then this DIY wood slice serving board would be an elegant and rustic touch to add to his kitchen. It’s super easy and will only set you back about $10, possibly even less!
Design Sponge: Is your father an outdoorsman? There’s a great DIY old-fashioned tripod camping stool you can craft for him! It looks so much classier than those fabric and metal ones you’d find at the store.
