3 Ways to Celebrate National Dog Day

Happy National Dog Day! Today should be a day full of treats and belly-rubs for your best friend. Our pups are there for us through thick and thin, so here are a few ways to celebrate your friendship and show them some extra lovin’.

• Buy him treats: What pup doesn’t love treats? Make today extra special for your pooch by spoiling him with a few of his favorites, or make your own pup-friendly peanut butter-pumpkin treats with this recipe here.
• Take him to a dog park: Take your bud to his favorite park or dog beach and let him run with the wind in his fur with the other dogs there. Don’t forget poop baggies and balls to play fetch with!
• Throw a dog party: If you have friends that also have dogs, throw a little pup party with dog friendly treats and tons of toys. Get ready for some awesome and adorable puppy action.
