This September 13th is National Grandparents Day! This holiday got its start in the 1970s when it was signed into law by President Jimmy Carter in 1978 and then was made official on September 6th, 1979. It designated the first Sunday after Labor Day going forward.
This is the perfect opportunity to show your grandparents how much you care. With social distancing still in place in 2020, here’s how you can celebrate Grandparents Day while keeping your grandparents safe:
Now more than ever we need to take the time to appreciate our grandparents and elderly! If anything this year has shown that taking care of our elderly population is a must and that also means showing appreciation this Grandparents Day.
