The stray dog issue in Baja California is a big one. According to the foundation, “The average income of our clients is less than $10 dollars a day. Many animals have never been to a vet before – only 13% of pets in Mexico ever do. Each and every clinic provides the opportunity for the local community to learn more about animal welfare and the benefits of  spay or neuter for their animals, their neighbors, and their community.”
