An Apartment State Of Mind
March 25, 2015
On March 19, Fairfield Residential celebrated the groundbreaking of Avaire South Bay, a new transit-oriented apartment community scheduled to open in late 2016.
Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas from the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, Second District, joined representatives from Fairfield Residential and FF Properties LP to mark this milestone occasion. Located across from the LAX/Aviation Metro Station, Avaire South Bay will offer excellent access to the area’s major employers including LAX, mass transit, freeway access and retail services.
“This new project will not only provide much needed new housing stock to support the robust local employment base, but will serve as a springboard for re-gentrification along Aviation Blvd. and establish a new gateway to neighborhood while supporting the green line and the new Crenshaw/LAX light rail. We’re grateful to be working alongside community and civic leaders on this shared vision of bringing new opportunities to the neighborhood and region,” said Larry Scott, Sr. Vice President of Development at Fairfield Residential.
At completion, Avaire South Bay will feature 264 studio, 1 and 2 bedroom flats and mezzanine loft apartments and a full array of amenities including pool, resident social lounge and controlled access parking.
