An Apartment State Of Mind

He’s given you advice from how to play a certain sport to how to grill the perfect steak. That’s right, folks, I’m talking about the man who’s got an arsenal of awkward dad jokes and useful advice ready at all times. I’m talking about the most important man in your life—the one that’s loved you despite your annoying teenage phase and rebellious trouble-making years. I’m talking about DAD.
Father’s day is just around the corner, which means it’s time to start buying meat for the grill and beer for the cooler. What better way to celebrate the Pops than with lots of food and lots of sports?
However, if you want to be more adventurous, here are a few Father’s Day activities that will put a smile on Dad’s face. After all, chances are good there’s nothing Dad wants more than to spend some quality time with you!
Amusement park: Bring out the inner kid in Dad and take him to a local amusement park. Make sure to do a silly pose for the roller coaster camera for a souvenir picture after.
Take him to a brewery: Craft beer is really hard to not appreciate. Take him to a brewery tour of his favorite beer, then cheers him with a huge glass of it.
Go on a picnic: Take Dad into the mountains for a short hike or to a park with a view and a picnic basket full of his favorite foods.
Go for a spa day: I know Dad is manly and all, but gentlemen need grooming too! Take Dad to get a massage and facial. Don’t worry, we all know men secretly love being pampered, too.
Give him wings: If you’ve got a little cash to spare, take Dad hot-air ballooning, paragliding or hang gliding. Let him fly with the birds.
Ultimately, as long as Dad knows you love him, you’re golden. Have an awesome Father’s Day!
