An Apartment State Of Mind
January 3, 2022
After taking a step back from vibrant colors and saturated hues for a few years, it’s time to revolve away from palette-cleansing neutrals… The design world is ready to embrace chromaticity again! Fairfield Regional Interior Design Manager Emily Herrera and her team are looking forward to focusing on shades of green in 2022. Color trend setters like Sherwin Williams agree: Their color of the year for 2022 is Evergreen Fog, which they say embraces resurrection and renewal.
Other industry leaders such as Behr, Valspar, Glidden, and PPG, followed suit and have selected colors like Guacamole and Olive Sprig to represent their positive outlooks for the future. Designers and artists will be focusing on revitalization in the upcoming years, and green is the perfect cross-cultural color to symbolize that focus. Keep an eye out! We’ know you’ll start to see shades of green everywhere.
Fairfield’s take on “Shades of Green” embodies growth, change and life—ideals we believe the world needs right now. Moving forward into the fresh dawn of new growth, green breaths new life into our environment and gives a much needed freshness to the world around us.
How much you want to adapt your décor is always up to you. That’s why our expert designers offer these suggested mood boards to help you incorporate the color of the year into your apartment—no matter what shade of green you love most!
