An Apartment State Of Mind
March 16, 2020
UPDATED 9/14/2020
As always, our residents, prospective residents, and associates continue to be our top priority. The great news is that we’re now working through a strategic re-opening of our communities – including accepting visitors in to our leasing offices. The global pandemic has established new norms for all of us. In order to continue minimizing the spread of COVID-19, everybody needs to be more cautious, including steps such as social distancing and wearing face masks, which is required throughout our communities in all public spaces, to protect each other. We need each other to safeguard and protect human health whether you’re looking for a home with us or you’re already calling us home.
We’re still here to help you find a home – virtually and in person!
We are offering options for live virtual tours, video tours and self-guided tours. Simply contact the community you’re interested in to set up a tour, either by calling us or through our websites. We also invite you to take advantage of our 3D floor plan tours, online photo galleries, online applications and online leasing. We have a new program called Keyboard to Keys that will help you find a home and move in without ever stepping foot into our leasing office – 100% contactless. We’re here for you to find what you need – a place to call home.
If you are a current resident with an approaching move-out date and you’d prefer to stay where you are for the time being, we’re here to help. Please give your leasing office a call to explore your options.
Closures in the amenity areas and leasing office
During the first 7-8 weeks of COVID-19, we closed our amenity areas except for the mail/package and laundry rooms. We also closed our leasing office to person-to-person interactions. We are now working through a strategic, re-opening of some of our communities’ amenity spaces considering each state’s laws and guidelines. We are also thrilled to be re-opening our leasing office doors to welcome in prospective and current residents. Again, being more cautious by practicing behaviors like social distancing, limiting the size of gatherings and wearing face masks are key to minimizing the spread and will be required throughout our communities. We have new signage in the amenity areas that are being re-opened to reinforce the new norms. We need everyone’s cooperation to keep our communities as healthy as possible. We will continue to frequently clean high-touch areas, particularly doorknobs/handles, elevator buttons, and faucets, in all common areas that continue to be utilized.
Resident events are cancelled
For the time being, all in-person resident events are cancelled. We have been hosting national social events like celebrating National Nurses Day as well as a variety of virtual events – wine and painting, and fitness from yoga to cardio – and will continue to do so. We do look forward to the time when we’ll be able to once again host live events that keep us connected! In the meantime, you can stay active with your neighbors by visiting our Facebook pages. We encourage sharing your photos and videos – we are in this together and can find inspiration in one another.
Let us know about self-quarantine situations
If for any reason you are in self-quarantine or have been diagnosed positive for COVID-19, please notify the leasing office immediately so that we can assist to make your stay more comfortable and ensure that appropriate safety measures are taken with any emergency service requests. This will continue to be our practice until further notice.
Actively practice the basics of COVID-19 defense and be considerate of your neighbors:
Our on-site associates and the larger Fairfield Residential community will continue to support you in any way that we can, and we appreciate your patience and adherence to COVID-19 heath guidelines as we continue to move through this unprecedented time. We are in this together.
Stay Safe. Stay Healthy. Keep Living.
